“The job of the artist is always to deepen the mystery” Francis Bacon

If space is the boundless expanse in which all objects exist and move- then I must be concerned with infinity.  If I were to throw an object into the sky, it would be my duty to see the path of the curve the object takes falling back to earth.  When I deliver paint onto canvas, there is an impalpable connection to all the countless threads that define me- searcher, poet, artist, human.   These paintings are not about me, there is no meaning I can give you that acts beyond the law of your own imagination.  All that I can ask of myself is honesty and sincerity.  Like builders of cathedrals, whose names are not even known, I devote myself to you- the audience.
